The Changzhou Metro is a metro system in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, China. The first line has been under construction since 28 October 2014, and is scheduled to open in 2019. The network is planned to comprise six lines with a total length of about by 2030. ==Lines== Construction for Line 1 began on 28 October 2014. The first phase runs from South Xiashu (南夏墅) in the south to Beihai Road in the north (北海路). It will be long, with 29 stations, including 27 underground and 2 elevated.
